- MINUTE ORDER #530/08:
County Judge Jon Burrows called to the Courts attention that the
minutes of December 01,
2008, 9:00 a.m. regular session had been received. After due discussion, these
minutes were approved as presented.
Agenda #2a - County Engineer
- MINUTE ORDER #531/08: County Engineer
Richard Macchi presented for approval the matter of exercising the
County's buy-back option with East Texas Mack for the purchase and sale
(trade-in) of two Mack CHU613 Tractors.
After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner
John Fisher, second
by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved this
matter.
Agenda #2b - County Engineer
- MINUTE ORDER #532/08: County Engineer
Richard Macchi presented for approval an Engineering Services Agreement
and Work Order No. 1 with M & E Consultants, Heidenheimer, for engineering
studies to determine the Breech Inundation Maps for eight (8) dam sites in
the Elm Creek Watershed.
After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner
Eddy Lange, second
by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved this
matter. A copy of said Agreement and Work Order are attached hereto
and made part of these minutes.
Agenda #2c - County Engineer
- MINUTE ORDER #533/08: County Engineer
Richard Macchi presented for approval an Agreement with Elm Creek
Watershed Authority for the reimbursement of half of the expenses incurred
by Bell County in the development of the Flood Inundation Maps for Sites 4,
8, 21, 22, 23, 30, 39, and 28.
After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner
Eddy Lange, second
by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved this
matter.
Agenda #2d - County Engineer
- MINUTE ORDER #534/08: County Engineer
Richard Macchi presented for approval an Engineering Services Agreement
and Notice to Proceed with Nave Engineering, Inc., Weatherford, for the
necessary engineering to determine the Breech Inundation Maps ad prepare
Emergency Action Plans for Structures 5 & 6, Donahoe Creek Watershed.
After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner
Eddy Lange, second
by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved this
matter. A copy of said Agreement and Notice are attached hereto and
made part of these minutes.

Richard Macchi presented for approval an Agreement with Donahoe Creek
Watershed for the reimbursement of half of the expenses incurred by Bell

- MINUTE ORDER #536/08: Upon motion by Commissioner
Tim Brown, second
by Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved all
employee status report forms, the same being attached hereto and made part
of these minutes.
Agenda #4 - Order Restricting Outdoor Burning
- MINUTE ORDER #537/08: County Judge
Jon Burrows presented for approval the matter of the termination,
modification, or continuation of the Order Restricting Outdoor Burning -
Burn Ban set to expire on December 22, 2008. After due discussion, the
Court took no action on this matter, and said Order remains in effect.
Agenda #5 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #538/08: County Judge Jon
Burrows
presented the claims for review to the Court. After proper review, upon motion by
Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher,
the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All according to a
copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.
(The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the
workshop agenda with no action being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
