John Burrows introduced Jamey Secrest, President of the Bell County Bar
Association who announced that the bar association has made a donation to
the Peaceable Kingdom Retreat in honor of Texas Supreme Court Chief Justice
Wallace B. Jefferson. County Judge John Burrows then introduced
146th Judicial District Judge Rick Morris to introduce Texas Supreme Court
Chief Justice Wallace B. Jefferson and his three sons. No action
taken.

Jon Burrows presented for approval the official bonds of all elected and
re-elected officials for Bell County. After due discussion, upon
motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John
Fisher, the Court unanimously approved this matter.

announced that a reception for the newly sworn in Bell County officials was
being held in the jury room of the 146th Judicial District Court.
