- MINUTE ORDER #078/09:
County Judge Jon Burrows called to the Courts attention that the minutes
of February 23, 2009 regular session had been received. After due discussion, these minutes
were approved as presented.

- MINUTE ORDER #079/09: No action taken.

Agenda #3 - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #080/09: Upon motion
by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange,
the Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms with
approved budget amendment, the same being attached hereto and made a part of
these minutes.
Agenda #4 - Memorandum of Understanding - City of
Temple and Bell County Sheriff's Office
- MINUTE ORDER #081/09: Sheriff Dan Smith
presented for approval a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of
Temple and the Bell County Sheriff's Office allowing use of City of Temple
Police Department Weapons Firing Range. After due discussion, upon
motion by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Tim
Brown, the Court unanimously approved this matter. A copy of said
Memorandum of Understanding is attached hereto and made a part of these
minutes.
Agenda #5 - Order Restricting Outdoor Burning - Burn Ban
- MINUTE ORDER #082/09: County Judge
Jon Burrows presented for approval the matter of the termination,
modification, or continuation of the Order Restricting Outdoor Burning -
Burn Ban set to expire at 10:00 a.m. on March 23, 2009. The Court took
no action on this matter and said Order remains in effect.
Agenda #6 - Bell County Jail Project - Change Order
Number 11
- MINUTE ORDER #083/09: After due discussion, upon
motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner
Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved final Change Order
Number 11 between Bell County and Skanska USA Building, Inc. for
additions/changes to the Bell County Jail Project. A copy of said
Change Order Number 11 is attached hereto and made part of these minutes.
Agenda #7 - Advertising for Bids for General Contractor
of the Bell County Multi-Use Facility
- MINUTE ORDER #084/09: After due discussion, upon
motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John
Fisher, the Court unanimously approved
the County Auditor advertising for bids for a General Contractor for
construction of the Bell County Multi-Use Facility to be located next to the
Bell County Justice Complex on Loop 121 in Belton.
Agenda #8 - Bell County Expo Center - Old Marquee Sign
- MINUTE ORDER #085/09: After due discussion, upon
motion by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner John
Fisher, the Court unanimously approved
declaring the old marquee sign at the Bell County Expo Center as surplus and
authorizing its sale as scrap metal.
Agenda #9 - Rooftop Air Conditioning Units in Bid

- MINUTE ORDER #086/09: After due discussion, upon
motion by Commissioner John Fisher, second by Commissioner Richard
Cortese, the Court unanimously approved
ratifying changing the number of Rooftop Air Conditioning units in Bid #8-09
from four to five units.

- MINUTE ORDER #087/09: County Judge
Jon Burrows presented the claims for review to the Court. After
proper review, upon
motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John
Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All
according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County
Auditor.
(The Court then went into
workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with no action
being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
