County Judge Jon Burrows called to the Courts attention that the minutes
of May 18, 2009 regular session had been received. After due
discussion, these minutes were approved as presented.

- MINUTE ORDER #205/09: Upon motion
by Commissioner John Fisher, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange,
the Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms with
approved budget amendment, the same being attached hereto and made a part of
these minutes.
Agenda #4 - Mary Farley Day in Bell County, Texas
- MINUTE ORDER #206/09:
County Judge Jon Burrows recognized Bell County Corrections Officer, Lt.
Mary Farley, upon her installation as President of the Texas Jail
Association, an organization of jail managers and practitioners and
declaring May 26, 2009 as "Mary Farley Day in Bell County, Texas." After due discussion, upon motion by
Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the
Court unanimously approved this matter. A copy of said Proclamation is attached hereto and
made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #5 - Bids for Tractor Loader and Shredder for
Maintenance Department
- MINUTE ORDER #207/09: County Judge
Jon Burrows presented for approval authorizing the County Auditor to
advertise for bids for tractor loader and shredder for the Bell County
Building Maintenance Department. After due discussion, upon motion by
Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner Tim Brown,
the Court unanimously approved this matter.

Agenda #6 - Bell County Auction
- MINUTE ORDER #208/09: Assistant Auditor
Russell Williams presented a report on the results of the County Auction
held May 07, 2009. After due
discussion, upon motion
by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved
this report. A copy of said report is attached hereto and made part
of these minutes.

Agenda #7 - Bell County Youth Services Hot Dog Stand
- MINUTE ORDER #209/09: After due discussion, upon motion
by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner John
Fisher, the Court unanimously approved allowing Bell County Youth
Services to operate a Hot Dog Stand on outdoor county property as
designated by County Judge upon submission of appropriate licenses and
proof of insurance.

Agenda #8 - Bell County Multi-Use Facility General
Contract Services Agreement
- MINUTE ORDER #210/09: After due
discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner
John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved authorizing the County
Judge to sign an agreement/contract with Zapalac/Reed Construction Company
for General Contract Services for a Bell County Multi-Use Facility to be
located at 2405 S. Loop 121, Belton, Bell County, Texas.

Agenda #9 - Bell County HELP Center TXU Programs
- MINUTE ORDER #211/09: After due discussion, upon motion
by Commissioner John Fisher, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved
authorizing Bell County HELP Centers to apply for TXU program funds to help
TXU customers reduce energy costs in homes. A copy of said Program
overview and qualifications is attached hereto and made part of these
minutes.

Agenda #10 - Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-housing
Project Grant
- MINUTE ORDER #212/09: The Court
unanimously approved application by Families In Crisis, Inc. for
Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing project grant from the Texas
Department of Housing and Community Affairs upon motion
by Commissioner John Fisher, second by Commissioner Richard
Cortese.

Agenda #11 - Oncor Electric Delivery Incentive Check
- MINUTE ORDER #213/09: County Judge
Jon Burrows announced the award by Oncor Electric Delivery to Bell
County of $27,458.61 incentive check for energy efficiency in Government
facilities. No action taken by the Court.
Agenda #12 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #214/09: County Judge Jon
Burrows presented the claims for review to the Court. After
proper review, upon
motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard
Cortese, the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All
according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County
Auditor.
(The Court then went into
workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with no action
being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
