- MINUTE ORDER #215/09:
County Judge Jon Burrows called to the Courts attention that the minutes
of May 26, 2009 regular session had been received. After due
discussion, these minutes were approved as presented.

- MINUTE ORDER #216/09: County Engineer Bryan Neaves
presented for approval releasing Letter of Credit No. 1022 in the amount of
$9,000.00 from Independent Bank for Sunset Vista Subdivision. After
due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner
Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #2b - County Engineer
- MINUTE ORDER #217/09: County Engineer Bryan Neaves
presented for approval an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Little
River-Academy for the repair of the Walking Trail. After
due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner
Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved this matter.

- MINUTE ORDER #218/09: County Engineer Bryan Neaves
presented for approval bids for Stone Riprap #14-09 from Shallowford
Construction at a unit price of $11.75 per ton and Miller Springs at a unit
price of $12.50 per ton. Along with bids for Crack Seal Material
#13-09 from Deery American of Grand Junction, CO., at a price of $0.388 per
pound and from Craftco Texas of San Antonio, Texas at a price of $0.46 per
pound. After
due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner
John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #2d - County Engineer
- MINUTE ORDER #219/09: County Engineer Bryan Neaves
presented for approval an agreement with Ergon Asphalt to extend pricing for
another six (6) months under the terms of a prior contract for Liquid
Asphalt. After
due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner
John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #2e - County Engineer
- MINUTE ORDER #220/09: County Engineer Bryan Neaves
presented for approval the replat of Pecan Springs Subdivision Phase Two,
being a replat of Lots 2A, 3A, and 4A. After
due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner
Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved this matter.

- MINUTE ORDER #221/09: Upon motion
by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese,
the Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms with
approved budget amendment, the same being attached hereto and made a part of
these minutes.
Agenda #4 - President of the North & East County Judges &
Commissioners Association
- MINUTE ORDER #222/09:
County Judge Jon Burrows announced his installation as President of the
North & East County Judges & Commissioners Association and announced that
the Annual Conference of the North & East County Judges & Commissioners
Association will be held at the Killeen Civic & Conference Center on May
16-19, 2010. No action taken by the Court.
Agenda #5 - Bell County Youth Fair Scholarship Program
- MINUTE ORDER #223/09: County Judge
Jon Burrows recognized Lindsey Strait, Chair of the Bell County Youth
Fair Scholarship Program who presented a report on this year's scholarship
program and announced this year's scholarship recipients: Ryan Dach,
Troy High School, $4,000; Morgan Kelly, Salado High School, $4,000; Cortney
Poncik, Academy High School, $4,000; Elizabeth Keesley, $2,000; Cody
Sultenfuss, Academy High School, $4,000; Victoria Pajestka, Holland High
School, $2,000; Josh Rodriguez, Salado High School, $2,000. No action
taken by the Court.

Agenda #6 - Oncor Electric Delivery Incentive Check
- MINUTE ORDER #224/09: John Toone with
Oncor Electric presented to the Court an incentive check in the amount of
$27,458.61 for energy efficiency in Bell County Facilities. No action
taken by the Court.

Agenda #7 - Mobile Central Files System for Auditor's
Office
- MINUTE ORDER #225/09: After due discussion, upon motion
by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John
Fisher, the Court unanimously approved the purchase off of Buy Board of
Mobile Central Files System for the Auditor's Offices at a cost of
$28,175.09. A copy of quote from Southwest Solutions Group is
attached hereto and made part of these minutes.

Agenda #8 - Audit Engagement Letters for Fiscal Year
ending September 30, 2009
- MINUTE ORDER #226/09: After due
discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner
Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved Audit Engagement Letters for
Fiscal Year ending September 30, 2009. A copy of said letters are
attached hereto and made part of these minutes.

Agenda #9 - Bell County Juvenile Justice Center Renovation
- MINUTE ORDER #227/09: After due discussion, upon motion
by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher,
the Court unanimously approved authorizing the County Judge to sign
agreement/contract with Gene Doss Construction Co., Inc. for General
Contract Services for Bell County Juvenile Justice Center Renovation at
4800 East Rancier, Killeen, Bell County, Texas. A copy of said
contract is attached hereto and made part of these minutes.

Agenda #10 - Courthouse Insulation
- MINUTE ORDER #228/09: The Court
unanimously approved ratifying authorization for County Auditor to
advertise for Courthouse insulation upon motion
by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard
Cortese.
Agenda #11 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #229/09: County Judge Jon
Burrows presented the claims for review to the Court. After
proper review, upon
motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard
Cortese, the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All
according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County
Auditor.
(The Court then went into
workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with no action
being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
