- MINUTE ORDER #271/09:
County Judge Jon Burrows called to the Courts attention that the minutes
of July 06, 2009 regular session had been received. After due
discussion, these minutes were approved as presented.
Agenda #2a - County Engineer
- MINUTE ORDER #272/09: County Engineer Bryan Neaves
presented for approval Walker Addition, a Two Lot Subdivision in Precinct 3
on the east side of Rogers Cemetery Road. After due discussion, upon
motion by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Tim
Brown, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #2b - County Engineer
- MINUTE ORDER #273/09: County Engineer Bryan Neaves
presented for approval Amity Estates Phase 1, 15.324 acres tract of land on
West Amity Road. After due discussion, upon
motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John
Fisher, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #2c - County Engineer
- MINUTE ORDER #274/09: County Engineer Bryan Neaves
presented for approval a request to abandon the drainage easement between
Lots 23 and 24 on Squire Drive in Country Squire Estates in Precinct 1. After due discussion, upon
motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John
Fisher, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #2d - County Engineer
- MINUTE ORDER #275/09: County Engineer Bryan Neaves
presented for approval a request for an Intergovernmental Agreement with
Coryell County for use of a Road Recycler on Bell County Road projects. After due discussion, upon
motion by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Tim
Brown, the Court unanimously approved this matter. A copy of said
agreement is attached hereto and made part of these minutes.

Agenda #3 - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #276/09: Upon motion
by Commissioner John Fisher, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange,
the Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms with
approved budget amendment, the same being attached hereto and made a part of
these minutes.
Agenda #4 - Order Restricting Outdoor Burning
- MINUTE ORDER #277/09: After due discussion, upon
motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John
Fisher, the Court established a new Order Restricting Outdoor Burning
effective 10:00 a.m. on July 20, 2009 through 10:00 a.m. August 17. 2009.
Said Order is attached hereto and made part of these minutes.
Agenda #5 - Public Hearing - Crawford Education
Facilities Corporation
- MINUTE ORDER #278/09: County Judge
Jon Burrows opened a public hearing at 9:15 a.m. regarding Tax Exempt
Financing by the Crawford Education Facilities Corporation for the benefit
of The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. There being no public
comments, the public hearing was closed.

Agenda #6 - Crawford Education Facilities Corporation for
benefit of UMHB
- MINUTE ORDER #279/09: County Judge
Jon Burrows presented for approval the adoption of an order by the
Commissioners' Court of Bell County, Texas, approving a financing by the
Crawford Education Facilities Corporation for the benefit of the University
of Mary Hardin-Baylor. After due discussion, upon
motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John
Fisher, the Court unanimously approved this matter.

Agenda #7 - Bell County Expo Center
- MINUTE ORDER #280/09: Tim Stephens,
Bell County Expo Center Director, presented for approval a proposal from
Corporate Facilities Management Services, LLC for retro fitting all light
fixtures in Building C and installation of the engineer fan system at the
Bell County Expo Center. After due discussion, upon motion
by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner John Fisher,
the Court unanimously approved this matter. A copy of said proposal
is attached hereto and made part of these minutes.
Agenda #8 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #281/09: County Judge Jon
Burrows presented the claims for review to the Court. After
proper review, upon
motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John
Fisher, the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All
according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County
Auditor.
(The Court then went into
workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with no action
being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
