Agenda #1 - Minutes
- MINUTE ORDER #295/09:
County Judge Jon Burrows called to the Courts attention that the minutes
of July 27, 2009 regular session, and July 31, 2009 special session had been received. After due
discussion, these minutes were approved as presented.
Agenda #2 - County Engineer
- MINUTE ORDER #296/09: No action taken by the
Court.

Agenda #3 - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #297/09: Upon motion
by Commissioner John Fisher, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange,
the Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms with
approved budget amendment, the same being attached hereto and made a part of
these minutes.
Agenda #4 - Order Restricting Outdoor Burning
- MINUTE ORDER #298/09: The Court
took no action on the status of an Order Restricting Outdoor Burning
effective through 10:00 a.m. on August 17, 2009. Said Order remains in
effect.
Agenda #5 - Change Order Number 003
- MINUTE ORDER #299/09: After due discussion, upon
motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard
Cortese, the Court unanimously approved Change Order Number 003 with no
change in Guaranteed Maximum Price, between Bell County and Skanska USA
Building, Inc. on the Courthouse Expansion Project. A copy of said
Change Order is attached hereto and made part of these minutes.
Agenda #6 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #300/09: County Judge Jon
Burrows presented the claims for review to the Court. After
proper review, upon
motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard
Cortese, the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All
according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County
Auditor.
At 9:09 a.m., County Judge Jon Burrows called the Bell County Commissioners
Court into Executive Session in reference to personnel matters under
§551.074 of the Open Meetings Act. The
Executive Session ended at 9:22 a.m. Court was called back into Open
Session, and no action was taken on the personnel matters.
(The Court then went into
workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with no action
being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
