met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular session with the

Agenda #1 - Minutes
- MINUTE ORDER #367/09:
County Judge Jon Burrows called to the Courts attention that the minutes
of August 31, 2009 regular session had been received. After due
discussion, these minutes were approved as presented.
Agenda #2a - County Engineer
- MINUTE ORDER #368/09: County Engineer Bryan
Neaves presented for approval the final plat for the Scallion Addition
in the E.T.J. of the City of Temple, Pct. 3. No action was taken on
this item on the August 31, 2009 agenda. After due discussion, upon
motion by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Richard
Cortese, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #2b - County Engineer
- MINUTE ORDER #369/09: After due
discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by
Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously awarded the bid for
fencing on Kuykendall Branch Road, Pct. 2, to L & R Fence in the amount of
$13,949.72 which was the low bid of the four received.

Agenda #3 - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #370/09: Upon motion
by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange,
the Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms with
approved budget amendment, the same being attached hereto and made a part of
these minutes.

Agenda #4 - Award Bid for HVAC Upgrade in Historic County
Courthouse
- MINUTE ORDER #371/09: After due
discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by
Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously awarded the bid for
HVAC upgrade in the Historic County Courthouse to Lochridge Priest
Mechanical in the amount of $87,181 which was the low bid of the two
received.

Agenda #5 - Amended Order of Special Election - Moody ISD
- MINUTE ORDER #372/09: After due discussion, upon motion
by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese,
the Court unanimously approved an Amended Order of Special Election for
Moody ISD to vote for School Board Trustee and for/against " The Issuance
of $11,500,000 School Building Bonds for Moody Independent School District
and Levying the Tax in Payment Thereof." A copy of said order is
attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #6 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #373/09: County Judge Jon
Burrows presented the claims for review to the Court. After
proper review, upon
motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard
Cortese, the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All
according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County
Auditor.
(The Court then went into
workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with no action
being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
