AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on this the 13th day of October, 2009, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular session with the following members of said Court present, to-wit:

  1. Agenda #1 - Minutes

    • MINUTE ORDER #422/09:  County Judge Jon Burrows called to the Courts attention that the minutes of October 05, 2009 regular session had been received.  After due discussion, these minutes were approved as presented.



  2. Agenda #2a - County Engineer

    • MINUTE ORDER #423/09:   County Judge Jon Burrows presented for approval authorizing the County Engineer to advertise for bids for the purchase of the following materials:  Grade 4 & 5 Aggregate, Culverts, Reinforce Steel and Base.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved this matter.   
           
          

  3. Agenda #3 - Personnel

    • MINUTE ORDER #424/09:    Upon motion by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms with approved budget amendment, the same being attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
          


  4. Agenda #4 - Change Order to Bell County Juvenile Justice Center Renovation

    • MINUTE ORDER #425/09:    After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved Change Order Number 001 between Bell County and Gene Doss Construction, Inc., on the Bell County Juvenile Justice Center Renovation for the addition of engraved room numbers on door head and extension of completion date by five days.  A copy of said Change Order is attached hereto and made part of these minutes.   
          


  5. Agenda #5 - Change Order to Bell County Multi-Use Facility

    • MINUTE ORDER #426/09:    After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved Change Order Number 002 between Bell County and Zapalac/Reed Construction Company on the Bell County Multi-Use Facility for addition of fire pump, ESFR system, fire line and pump room.  A copy of said Change Order is attached hereto and made part of these minutes.     
          


  6. Agenda #6 - Change Order to Bell County Courthouse Expansion Project

    • MINUTE ORDER #427/09:    After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved Change Order Number 004 between Bell County and Skanska USA Building Inc. on the Bell County Courthouse Expansion Project for additional pier depths and sump pumps with oil sensors and alarms in elevator shafts.  A copy of said Change Order is attached hereto and made part of these minutes.      
          


  7. Agenda #7 - Claims

    • MINUTE ORDER #428/09:   County Judge Jon Burrows presented the claims for review to the Court.  After proper review, upon motion by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved all such claims.  All according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.


             (The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with no action being taken on any item.)


             There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
