AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on this the 11th day of January, 2010, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular session with the following members of said Court present, to-wit:

  1. Agenda #1 - Minutes

    • MINUTE ORDER #007/10:  County Judge Jon Burrows called to the Courts attention that the minutes of January 04, 2010, 9:00 a.m. regular session had been received.  After due discussion, these minutes were approved as presented.



  2. Agenda #2a - County Engineer

    • MINUTE ORDER #008/10:  County Engineer Bryan Neaves presented for approval the final plat for Calhoun First Addition, a replat of Chaparral Estates in Precinct 2, a replat of Lot 29, Block 1, at the corner of Slawson Lane and Shaw Lane.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
           
          

  3. Agenda #2b - County Engineer

    • MINUTE ORDER #009/10:  County Engineer Bryan Neaves presented for approval the final plat for Sunset Vista Phase 6, in Precinct 3, an 8 lot Subdivision off Shaw Road.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
           
          

  4. Agenda #2c - County Engineer

    • MINUTE ORDER #010/10:  County Engineer Bryan Neaves presented for approval awarding the bid for the purchase of culverts to Wilson Culverts, the low bidder in the amount of $110,070.00.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner John Fisher, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
           
          

  5. Agenda #2d - County Engineer

    • MINUTE ORDER #011/10:  County Engineer Bryan Neaves presented for approval the renaming of "Stacy Road" to "Rafter G Road."  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner John Fisher, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
           
          

  6. Agenda #3 - Personnel

    • MINUTE ORDER #012/10:    Upon motion by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms with approved budget amendment, the same being attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
          


  7. Agenda #4 - Change Order No. 003 - Bell County Multi-Use Facility

    • MINUTE ORDER #013/10:    County Judge Jon Burrows presented for approval Change Order No. 003 between Bell County and Zapalac/Reed Construction Company on the Bell County Multi-Use Facility for modifications of landscape sprinkler system, revisions to security system and electrical power modifications for Type "A" light fixtures.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved this matter.  A copy of said Change Order is attached hereto and made part of these minutes.
          


  8. Agenda #5 - Historic Courthouse Project

    • MINUTE ORDER #014/10:    County Judge Jon Burrows presented for approval the expansion of the Scope of Work with Kim Williams, Architect, to include additional study, evaluation, and management of energy efficiency grant items and related professional fees for the Historic Courthouse project.  A copy of the Project Summary is attached hereto and made part of these minutes.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
          


  9. Agenda #6 - Building & Grounds

    • MINUTE ORDER #015/10:  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner John Fisher, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved awarding bid 05-10 for a Service Body for a 3/4 ton F250 pickup for Building & Grounds to Knapheide Truck Equipment Southwest in the amount of $5,251.00
           
          

  10. Agenda #7 - Fuel Management Services Proposal Award

    • MINUTE ORDER #016/10:  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved awarding the proposal for Fuel Management Services to Texas Fleet Fuel Ltd. for a two (2) year term with an option to renew for two (2) more years at both parties agreement.
           
          

  11. Agenda 8 - Claims

    • MINUTE ORDER #017/10:   County Judge Jon Burrows presented the claims for review to the Court.  After proper review, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved all such claims.  All according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.


             (The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with no action being taken on any item.)


             There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
