AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on this the 19th day of January, 2010, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular session with the following members of said Court present, to-wit:

1. Agenda #1 - Minutes

• MINUTE ORDER #018/10:  Commissioner Richard Cortese called to the Courts attention that the minutes of January 11, 2010, 9:00 a.m. regular session had been received.  After due discussion, these minutes were approved as presented.
  
  
  
  

2. Agenda #2a - County Engineer

• MINUTE ORDER #019/10:  County Engineer Bryan Neaves presented for approval the final plat for Villa Mares Addition in Precinct 2.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
       
      
  
  

3. Agenda #2b - County Engineer

• MINUTE ORDER #020/10:  County Engineer Bryan Neaves presented for approval awarding the bid for a CS-54 model Vibratory Roller to Holt Cat in the amount of $81,578.00.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
       
      
  
  

4. Agenda #2c - County Engineer

• MINUTE ORDER #021/10:  County Engineer Bryan Neaves presented for approval awarding the bid for two 12 C.Y. Dump Trucks to Temple Freightliner in the amount of $171,862.00.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
       
      
  
  

5. Agenda #3 - Personnel

• MINUTE ORDER #022/10:    Upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms with approved budget amendment, the same being attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
      
  
  
  

6. Agenda #4 - Change Order No. 007 - Bell County Courthouse Expansion Project

• MINUTE ORDER #023/10:    Commissioner Richard Cortese presented for approval Change Order No. 007 between Bell County and Skanska USA Building, Inc. on the Courthouse Expansion Project with no change in the Guaranteed Maximum Price.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved this matter.  A copy of said Change Order is attached hereto and made part of these minutes.
      
  
  
  

7. Agenda #5 - Computer Network Switching Equipment and Maintenance

• MINUTE ORDER #024/10:    After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved the purchase and financing of computer network switching equipment and maintenance for the Bell County Communications Center through Key Government Finance, Inc., on behalf of Cisco Systems Capital Corporation payable out of Bell County Communications Center budgeted funds.
      
  
  
  

8. Agenda #6 - FY 2010 Formula Grant - Task Force on Indigent Defense

• MINUTE ORDER #025/10:  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved the acceptance of FY 2010 Formula Grant from the Task Force on Indigent Defense, estimated to be $128,631.00.
       
      
  
  

9. Agenda 7 - Claims

• MINUTE ORDER #026/10:   Commissioner Richard Cortese presented the claims for review to the Court.  After proper review, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved all such claims.  All according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.


         (The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with no action being taken on any item.)
