- MINUTE ORDER #182/10:
County Judge Jon Burrows called to the Courts attention that the minutes
of May 10th, 2010, 9:00 a.m. regular sessions had been received. After due
discussion, these minutes were approved as presented.
Agenda #2a - County Engineer
- MINUTE ORDER #183/10:
County Engineer Bryan Neaves presented for approval the extension of bid
#05-10, per the approved existing contract with Ergo Asphalt & Emulsions,
Inc. for asphalt material (CRS-2, HFRS-2 and AEP) at the same bid prices. After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by
Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved this matter.

- MINUTE ORDER #184/10:
County Engineer Bryan Neaves presented for approval authorizing the
County Auditor to go out for bids to sell a 12-G CAT motor grader. After due discussion, upon motion
by Commissioner John Fisher, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange,
the Court unanimously approved this matter.

- MINUTE ORDER #185/10: Upon motion
by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange,
the Court approved all employee status report forms, the
same being attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.

Agenda #4 - Hospital Revenue Bonds for Benefit of Scott &
White Memorial Hospital and Scott, Sherwood, and Brindley Foundation
- MINUTE ORDER #186/10: County Judge
Jon Burrows presented for approval an Order of the Commissioners
Court of Bell County, Texas, authorizing the County Judge to approve the
issuance of hospital revenue bonds issued for the benefit of Scott and
White Memorial Hospital and Scott, Sherwood and Brindley Foundation,
issued in an aggregate principal amount of not more than $400,000,000
through the Tarrant County Cultural Education Facilities Finance
Corporation, with the approval by Bell County for the purpose of
complying with Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code. After
due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by
Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved this matter.

Agenda #5 - Audit Engagement Letters for Fiscal Year
ending September 30, 2010
- MINUTE ORDER #187/10: After due discussion, upon motion
by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher,
the Court unanimously approved the Audit Engagement Letters for Fiscal
Year ending September 30, 2010, a copy of which is attached hereto and
made part of these minutes.

Agenda #6 - County Auction Report
- MINUTE ORDER #188/10: County Judge
Jon Burrows recognized Russell Williams, Assistant Auditor, who gave
a report on the results of the County Auction, held May 13, 2010.
A copy of said report is attached hereto and made part of these minutes.
After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by
Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved this matter.

Agenda #7 - Bell County TS Transition Support Statement of
Work
- MINUTE ORDER #189/10:
After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by
Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved a Statement
of Work between Bell County and Managing to Excellence Corporation for
Bell County TS Transition Support. A copy of said Statement of
Work is attached hereto and made part of these minutes.

Agenda #8 - Central Jail Furniture Purchase Order
- MINUTE ORDER #190/10: County Judge
Jon Burrows presented for approval a purchase order for $54,446.88
with Perry Office for furniture items needed to move back into the
Central Jail to include the furniture for the Guardian Ad Litem office
area. All items are on TXmas pricing. After due discussion, upon motion by
Commissioner John Fisher, second by
Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved this matter.

Agenda #9 - Real Property Transaction for Bell County Expo
Center
- MINUTE ORDER #191/10:
After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by
Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved the
trading of real property of Bell County for real property of similar
value adjacent to the Expo Center and authorizing the County Judge to
sign all necessary and appropriate documentation, to include a deed, to
complete the transaction and the payment of any closing costs or
expenses.
Agenda #10 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #192/10: County Judge Jon
Burrows presented the claims for review to the Court. After
proper review, upon
motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner
Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All
according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County
Auditor.
County Judge
Jon Burrows announced that the Bell County Commissioner's Court will
exercise the right to go into executive session at 9:24 a.m. regarding
personnel matters permitted by the Texas Open Meetings Act. The
executive session ended at 10:12 a.m. with no action taken.
(The Court then went into
workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with no action
being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
