County Judge Jon Burrows called to the Courts attention that the minutes
of June 1st, 2010, 9:00 a.m. regular sessions had been received. After due
discussion, these minutes were approved as presented.

- MINUTE ORDER #201/10: Upon motion
by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher,
the Court approved all employee status report forms, the
same being attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.

Agenda #4 - Bell County Communications Center Honored by
Fort Hood
- MINUTE ORDER #202/10: County Judge
Jon Burrows recognized Don Hardison with Fort Hood CID who presented
an award from Fort Hood to the Bell County Communications Center in
appreciation of the assistance given by the Communications Center
personnel during the mass shooting at Fort Hood on November 5, 2009, and
recognized personnel of the Communications Center. No action
taken.

Agenda #5 - Interlocal Agreement Renewal - City of Killeen
- MINUTE ORDER #203/10: The Court took no
action on the renewal of the Interlocal Agreement between Bell County
and the City of Killeen, authorizing the City of Killeen to use Bell
County software and fiber optic network to process, access, and maintain
records regarding early voting for a fee of $1,200 paid by the City of
Killeen.

action on the renewal of the Interlocal Agreement between Bell County
and the City of Temple, authorizing the City of Temple to use Bell
County software and fiber optic network to process, access, and maintain
records regarding early voting for a fee of $1,200 paid by the City of
Temple.

Agenda #7 - Awarding Bid for Vehicle for CSCD
- MINUTE ORDER #205/10: After due
discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner
Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved awarding the bid for
one program sedan, a 2010 Impala, to John McClaren Chevrolet in the
amount of $15,800.

Agenda #8 - Renewal of Service Agreement for the VINE
Program
- MINUTE ORDER #206/10: County Judge
Jon Burrows presented for approval the R-07 Service Agreement
Renewal for the VINE (Victim Information & Notification Everyday)
Program between Bell County and Appriss, Inc., the service provider, and
approval of the Maintenance Contract between Bell County and the Office
of the Attorney General. After due discussion, upon motion by
Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange,
the Court unanimously approved this matter.

Agenda #9 - Renewal of Contract for the SAVNS Program
- MINUTE ORDER #207/10: County Judge
Jon Burrows presented for approval the renewal of the Statewide
Automated Victim Notification Service (SAVNS) Maintenance Grant Contract
between the Office of the Attorney General and Bell County for the State
Fiscal Year 2011 (OAG Contract No. 1120443). After due discussion,
upon motion by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner
Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved this matter.

Agenda #10 - Change Order No. 002 - Historic Courthouse
- MINUTE ORDER #208/10: County Judge
Jon Burrows presented for approval Change Order Number 002 with TWC
Architects for Historic Courthouse repairs in the amount of $12,860.94
for the addition of millwork in new office 110 and the painting of all
windows and doors in the public areas of the first, second, and third
floors, and the Auditor's office area, not in original estimate of work
with G. Creek Construction. After due discussion, upon motion by
Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher,
the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #11 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #209/10: County Judge Jon
Burrows presented the claims for review to the Court. After
proper review, upon
motion by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner
Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All
according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County
Auditor.
(The Court then went into
workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with no action
being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
