AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on this the 21st day of June, 2010, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular session with the following members of said Court present, to-wit:

  1. Agenda #1 - Minutes

    • MINUTE ORDER #219/10:  County Judge Jon Burrows called to the Courts attention that the minutes of June 14th, 2010, 9:00 a.m. regular sessions had been received.  After due discussion, these minutes were approved as presented.



  2. Agenda #2a - County Engineer

    • MINUTE ORDER #220/10:    County Engineer Bryan Neaves presented  for approval awarding the bid for the sale of a 12G 1994 Motor grader to Holt CAT in the amount of $55,000.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved this matter. 
          
          

  3. Agenda #2b - County Engineer

    • MINUTE ORDER #221/10:    County Engineer Bryan Neaves presented  for approval an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Rogers to transport material from FM 439 to the City of Rogers.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court approved this matter.  A copy of said Agreement is attached hereto and made part of these minutes.   
          


  4. Agenda #3 - Personnel

    • MINUTE ORDER #222/10:    Upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court approved all employee status report forms, the same being attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.  The Court acknowledged the passing of long-time Bell County Maintenance Department employee Andy Ancira.



  5. Agenda #4 - Bids for the Lease of the Bell County Land Fill Property

    • MINUTE ORDER #223/10:    County Judge Jon Burrows presented for approval authorizing the County Auditor to advertise for bids for the lease of the Bell County Land Fill Property.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved this matter.


       
  6. Agenda #5 - Interlocal Agreement - City of Killeen

    • MINUTE ORDER #224/10:    After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner John Fisher, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved the renewal of the Interlocal Agreement between Bell County and the City of Killeen, authorizing the City of Killeen to use Bell County software and fiber optic network to process, access, and maintain records regarding early voting for a fee of $1,200.00 paid by the City of Killeen.  A copy of said Agreement is attached hereto and made part of these minutes.
          


  7. Agenda #6 - Interlocal Agreement - City of Temple

    • MINUTE ORDER #225/10:   After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner John Fisher, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved the renewal of the Interlocal Agreement between Bell County and the City of Temple, authorizing the City of Temple to use Bell County software and fiber optic network to process, access, and maintain records regarding early voting for a fee of $1,200.00 paid by the City of Temple.  A copy of said Agreement is attached hereto and made part of these minutes.
          


  8. Agenda #7 - Contract for Re-roofing County Buildings

    • MINUTE ORDER #226/10:    After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved a contract with Corporate Facilities Management Services, LLC, for the re-roofing of the following County Buildings:  Central Jail, Old Post Office; and the Killeen Annex.
          


  9. Agenda #8 - Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG)

    • MINUTE ORDER #227/10:    County Judge Jon Burrows presented for approval an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) awarded to Bell County in the initial amount of $138,184 and authorized the County Judge to execute all appropriate documents to accept the award.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
          


  10. Agenda #9 - Claims

    • MINUTE ORDER #228/10:   County Judge Jon Burrows presented the claims for review to the Court.  After proper review, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved all such claims.  All according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.
       


             (The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with no action being taken on any item.)


             There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
