IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURT OF

BELL COUNTY, TEXAS

AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on this the 8th day of November, 2010, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular session with the following members of said Court present, to-wit:

1. Agenda #1 - Minutes

• MINUTE ORDER #435/10:   County Judge Jon Burrows called to the Courts attention that the minutes of November 1, 2010, 9:00 a.m. regular session had been received.  After due discussion, these minutes were approved as presented.
  
  
  
  

2. Agenda #2 - County Engineer

• MINUTE ORDER #436/10:   County Judge Jon Burrows opened a Public Hearing at 9:04 a.m. regarding a 45 MPH speed limit on Pleasant Hill Cemetery Road between FM 439 and Nolanville City Limits.  There being no public comments, the hearing was closed.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
      
      
  
  

3. Agenda #3 - Personnel

• MINUTE ORDER #437/10:    Upon motion by Commissioner John Fisher, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court approved all employee status report forms, the same being attached hereto and made part of these minutes. 
  
  




4. Agenda #4 - Report on Veterans Clinic

• MINUTE ORDER #438/10:     The Court received a report from Jim Endicott, Bell County Veterans Liaison and Nikki Mundkowsky, Bell County Bar Association President on the Veterans Clinic instituted by the Bar Association.  No action taken by Court.





5. Agenda #5 - 2-1-1 Information and Referral Call Center Contract Renewal

• MINUTE ORDER #439/10:    Wanda Williams with the Central Texas Workforce Commission presented for approval the renewal of a Professional Services Contract between Bell County (Human Services Department) and Central Texas Workforce Development Board/Information and Referral System for staffing of 2-1-1 Information and Referral Call Center in Belton.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved this matter.  A copy of said contract is attached hereto and made part of these minutes. 
  
  




6. Agenda #6 - Appointment to Board of Trustees for Central Counties MHMR

• MINUTE ORDER #440/10:    After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner John Fisher, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved the appointment by Coryell County of Donna Twait for a two-year term on the Board of Trustees for Central Counties MHMR Authority.
  
  




7. Agenda #7 - Memorandum of Understanding with Supreme Court of Texas

• MINUTE ORDER #441/10:    After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved a Memorandum of Understanding between Bell County and the Supreme Court of Texas for Support of Continuity of Court Operations in the event of an emergency.  A copy of said Memorandum of Understanding is attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
  
  




8. Agenda #8 - Claims

• MINUTE ORDER #442/10:    County Judge Jon Burrows presented the claims for review to the Court.  After proper review, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved all such claims.  All according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor. 
  
  




         (The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with no action being taken on any item.)
