November 8, 2010


AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on this the 8th day of November, 2010, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular session with the following members of said Court present, to-wit:

  1. Agenda #1a - County Engineer

    • MINUTE ORDER #443/10:   County Engineer Bryan Neaves presented the following bid awards for approval: 
      Aggregate Grade 4 to Killeen Crushed Stone in the amount of $13.75.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner John Fisher, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
      Lightweight Grade 5 to TXI of Streetman Texas, in the amount of $29.50.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner John Fisher, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved this matter. 
      Reinforcing Steel to CMC Alamo Steel of Waco in the amount of $45/cwt.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
      Asphalt - AE-P in the amount of $2.40 per gallon and CRS-2 in the amount of $1.92 per gallon to Cleveland.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
      Crushed Limestone Base to Killeen Crushed Stone at $3.25/ton; to Franklin Industries of Nolanville at $3.00/ton; to Superior Crushed Stone of Jarrell at $3.75/ton.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved this matter.



  2. Agenda #1b - County Engineer

    • MINUTE ORDER #444/10:   After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved the 2010 Annual Report to the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality for the Bell County Phase II MS4 Program.  A copy of said report is attached hereto and made part of these minutes.
          
          


             (The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with no action being taken on any item.)


             There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
