IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURT OF

BELL COUNTY, TEXAS


January 17, 2012


AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on this the 17th day of January, 2012, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, met in the Commissioners Courtroom at the Bell County Courthouse, Belton, Texas, in regular session with the following members of said Court present, to-wit:

  1. Agenda #1 - Minutes

    • MINUTE ORDER #010/12:   County Judge Jon Burrows called to the Courts attention that the minutes of January 9, 2012, 9:00 a.m. regular session had been received.  After due discussion, these minutes were approved as presented.
          
          

  2. Agenda #2 - County Engineer

    • MINUTE ORDER #011/12:    County Engineer, Bryan Neaves presented for approval the 2011 Annual Report of the Road & Bridge Department.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved this report.  A copy of said report is attached hereto and made part of these minutes.
          


  3. Agenda #3 - Personnel

    • MINUTE ORDER #012/12:     Upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court approved all employee status report forms, the same being attached hereto and made a part of these minutes. 



  4. Agenda #4 - Order Restricting Outdoor Burning

    • MINUTE ORDER #013/12:    County Judge Jon Burrows presented for discussion the status of the Order Restricting Outdoor Burning (Burn Ban).  The Court took no action in this matter.




  5. Agenda #5 - Cancellation of Agreement with Corporate Facilities Management Services

    • MINUTE ORDER #014/12:    County Judge Jon Burrows presented for approval the cancellation of a mutual agreement of September 26, 2011 contract with Corporate Facilities Management Services for renovation of West Wing of Bell County Communications Center.  After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved this matter. 



  6. Agenda #6 - Advertising for Bids for Contractor for West Wing of Bell County Communications Center

    • MINUTE ORDER #015/12:    After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved for the County Auditor to advertise for bids for a General Contractor for the construction/renovation of the West Wing of the Bell County Communications Center at 708 West Avenue O in Belton.



  7. Agenda #7 - Advertising for Request for Qualifications for Geotechnical Services

    • MINUTE ORDER #016/12:    After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved authorizing the County Auditor to advertise for Request for Qualifications for Geotechnical Services for Bell County.



  8. Agenda #8 - Claims

    • MINUTE ORDER #017/12:    County Judge Jon Burrows presented the claims for review to the Court.  After proper review, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved all such claims.  All according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor. 




             (The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with no action being taken on any item.)


             There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
