Donated by Ferguson grandson, George Nalle, in 1993, the museum’s collection of Ferguson Forums consists of almost 500 issues of the newspaper. The weekly Ferguson Forum was first published in 1917 in Temple by former Texas Governor James E. Ferguson. It was subsequently published in Dallas and Austin.
The
Ferguson Forums served as a way for Ferguson to express his political opinions while also generating funding for both his and his wife’s political campaigns. The paper was published until 1935.
