Focusing on the "boom" period of cotton (late 1800s to 1930s) when much of the planting, picking, and processing of cotton was done by hand, this trunk presents cotton in a fun and interactive way.  The physical properties of cotton as well as its importance to families and communities in Bell County are explained.
