Dive Team

The primary function of the Underwater Division is the search and recovery of unfortunate victims of water accidents, recovery of evidence, automobiles and stolen articles.

The divers are on 24-hour call for rescue and recovery operation.

SWAT

SWAT (Special Weapons And Tactics) is a specialized unit trained to perform dangerous, high risk operations. These can include serving high-risk arrest warrants, performing hostage rescue and/or armed intervention, preventing terrorist attacks, and engaging heavily-armed criminals. SWAT personnel conduct operations beyond the capabilities of our regular patrol officers and are equipped with specialized firearms, riot control agents, stun grenades, and high-powered rifles for marksmen (snipers). They often have specialized equipment including heavy body armor, entry tools, armored vehicles, and night vision optics.
