The Honor Guard of the Bell County Sheriff's Office is made up of individuals who want to take the extra step to honor the fallen. Whether presenting the Flag, in an opening ceremony or laying a fellow officer to rest. These officers bring a special commitment to making sure the job is done right.
The Honor Guard of the Bell County Sheriff's Office has been honored to be invited to participate in Memorial Day events in Salado and at the Veterans Memorial State Cemetery in Killeen.
The Honor Guard was most recently invited to the Presentation of the Viet Nam Memorial "Healing Wall" that was on display in Rogers Texas. The Honor Guard Presented the "Colors" during the opening ceremony and participated in the closing of the "Healing Wall" by Firing a 21 gun salute, playing Taps, and piping "Amazing Grace".
