Precinct 4 Commissioner, John Fisher, is currently serving in his third term on the Bell County Commissioners Court.  He holds a BS Degree from Texas A&M University 1979. Business emphasis (President Saddle and Sirloin Club, largest club on campus).  He is President of Fisher Brothers Electric LLC and is a State Licensed Auctioneer since 1976.  Other professional business includes:  John Fisher Sales Manager/Auctioneer; Associated Auctioneers; Country Secrets Western Wear; Five F Land and Cattle Co. Rentals; The Cattle Company Ranch; and Saddle Ridge Development Co, LLP.

Fisher was born in Killeen, Texas.  He and his wife, Sheena, have been married 37 years.  They have 4 sons.

Since his election to office, he has been instrumental in strategic planning for major capital projects for the county.  As a member of the Commissioners Court, the county's responsibilities include working with the court systems, county jail, building and maintaining county roads and bridges, and many other services.  He has served on many boards and committees, where he now serves as Chair of the Central Texas Council of Governments and President of the Hill Country Community Action Association.

He has been awarded the Going the Extra Mile Award from the Texas Association of Counties for his dedication and extraordinary efforts in the efficient and effective operation of the Katrina Housing Experience in Bell County.
