The
Bell County District Clerk's Office operates the local registry for
receipt and distribution of court ordered child support payments.
Child support checks are made payable to the recipient of child support
(not the District Clerk). The case number is the child support
account number and must be included on all payments. Mail payments

The
Child Support Division processes over $22 million per year in child
support payments, along with 19,000 active child support cases.

All child support payments received by the District
Clerk's Office are mailed the same day they are received,
except the day following a legal holiday which may
require an extra day to process the payments.
