• The 27th District Court sits in Bell County Monday through Thursday and in Lampasas County on Friday.
  
  
• The 27th District Court hears felony criminal cases and Bond Forfeiture (NISI cases) in Bell County and hears all civil, criminal and family cases in Lampasas County.
  
  
• The 27th District Court criminal docket call in Bell County will be every morning at 8:45 a.m. except on Friday.  On Friday the Court will be in Lampasas.  
  
  
• Generally, agreed uncontested cases will be heard first followed by contested matters and those with witnesses.
  
  
• NISI's are set Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m. 
   
• The Thursday morning criminal docket call will include cases set for jury trial the following week.
   
• Defendants on bond are required to be present.
   
• A special setting may be requested at any time by either side or set specially by the Court
   
• Jury trials take precedence over other matters.
