T
he Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) completed a Flood Insurance Study of the Central Texas area and issued new floodplain maps for Bell County.  Click on the following link:     http://msc.fema.gov

On July 28, 2008, Bell County Commissioners Court adopted the Bell County Flood Damage Prevention Court Order.  This Order is effective as of September 26, 2008.  This order allows Bell County property owners to purchase federally subsidized flood insurance through the National Flood Insurance Program.
