Asphalt Crew - Durapatching 2010 Project Photos

Durapatching is surface maintenance using a mobile seal coating trailer.  It is usually performed in winter and spring to prepare for the summer seal coat program.  This is ideal for a small crew to patch small areas of the roadway not requiring level up work.  The pictures below show the operation of applying the CRS-2 asphalt and the Gr-5 aggregate afterwards using the wand.  The 6-yard dump truck has aggregate in the dump bed and pulls the asphalt trailer behind it.
