Bell County Burn Ban Lifted
 

December 12, 2011 (Bell County, Texas) -  Due to the current rainfall and forecasted conditions, the Burn Ban in Bell County is lifted indefinitely by the Bell County Commissioners Court.
The status of the Burn Ban will be re-evaluated at the next Commissioners Court meeting at 9:00 a.m., Monday, December 19, 2011.  If you plan to burn in Bell County, please call 254-933-5555 prior to beginning.



The Public is reminded that TCEQ rules still apply, specifically: (1) No burning when winds are over 23 mph;  (2) all fires must be attended;  (3) only wood products burned; and (4) a water supply is available.
 

Citizens are urged to use extreme caution and responsible judgment.
