Notice of Workshop Session of 
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas 
for APRIL 04, 2005

Notice is hereby given that a Workshop Session of the Commissioners Court will be held immediately after the regular Commissioners Court Meeting in the Commissioners Court Conference Room, County Courthouse, 2nd Floor, Belton, Texas, where the following items will be discussed, but no action will be taken.

1. District Court/Sheriff's office/Jail planning, architect conferences, Texas Commission on Jail Standards reviews & updates, financing timetable and alternatives.

2. Architect planning & Construction Manager at Risk planning/updates; Subcontractor review/approval.

3. Bell County Jail Population Management Meeting summary. 

4. Draft of Invitation to Bid for purchase of Medical Services for the Correctional Facility. 

5. City of Belton, TxDOT, architect and construction manager discussions on site development, platting/zoning, entrances, and construction/design issues.

6. City of Belton road closing, parking, and access easement issues of development of coop gin site.

7. City of Belton USDA grant for construction of sewer line under Loop 121 near EXPO.

8. Update and presentation on real estate in Temple for potential purchase and use for abused families and similar needs.

9. Review and discussion of General Contractor bids for the three buildings comprising the Killeen Annex. 

10. Meeting of Central Texas Deployment Task Force and support for May 13th celebration. 

11. Memorandum of Understanding for Pilot Interoperable Communications Program Among McLennan, Bell and Coryell Counties and Associated Agencies.

12. HIPAA Security Rule deadline status for compliance. 

13. Centro Vision proposal regarding rural cities tie in to City of Temple and then to Communications Center.

14. Proposal regarding rural areas involving Broadband and BellNET.

15. Feasibility of refinancing of certain debt issues at attractive rates and financing for road and bridge equipment.

16. Central Texas Narcotics Task Force status and update.

17. Update on TxDOT information on information/meetings/planning regarding the Trans-Texas Corridor, Loop 363, I-35, US 190, and related projects.

25. Health Insurance alternatives and followup on meeting of HR directors and medical provider.
