Notice of Workshop Session of 
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas 
for JUNE 27, 2005

Notice is hereby given that a Workshop Session of the Commissioners Court will be held immediately after the regular Commissioners Court Meeting in the Commissioners Court Conference Room, County Courthouse, 2nd Floor, Belton, Texas, where the following items will be discussed, but no action will be taken.

1. District Court/Sheriff's office/Jail planning, architect conferences, Texas Commission on Jail Standards reviews & updates, financing timetable and alternatives.

2. Architect planning & Construction Manager at Risk planning/updates; Subcontractor review/approval.

3. Status update and review of operation/personnel needs of County Clerk's office pending Clerk's medical recovery.

4. Budget requests from non-county departments.

5. Health and dental insurance review of proposals to Bell County and other entities and issue regarding Agent of Record.

6. Broadband Horizon presentation concerning technology alternatives in construction design and implementation. 

7. City of Temple Creation of Tax Abatement Zone Number Eight.

9. Draft of Invitation to Bid for purchase of Medical Services for the Correctional Facility.

11. City of Belton road closing, parking, and access easement issues on development of coop gin site and other Belton issues.

12. Issue of false alarm problems in Texas and proposed regulation of installers.
