Workshop Session of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas
for November 13, 2006
Notice is hereby given that a
Workshop Session of the Commissioners Court and the Board of
the Bell County Health Facilities Development Corporation will be held immediately after the regular Commissioners Court Meeting,
or at 9:00 a.m. if there is no meeting, in the Commissioners
Court Conference Room, County Courthouse, 2nd Floor, Belton, Texas, where the following items will be discussed, but no action will be taken.
District
Court/Sheriff's office/Jail planning, architect conferences, Texas
Commission on Jail Standards reviews & updates, financing timetable and
alternatives; coordination with TxDOT on signage; liquidated damages
calculations and amounts.
Architect planning
& Construction Manager at Risk planning/updates; Subcontractor
review/approval; wage-rate issues; card-access locations; guaranteed maximum
price calculations/approval.

management, jail leasing alternatives/costs, financing considerations, and state prison overcrowding
notification, and JP coverage.
