Notice of Workshop Session of 
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas 
for February 19, 2008

Notice is hereby given that a Workshop Session of the Commissioners Court will be held immediately after the regular Commissioners Court Meeting, or at 9:00 a.m. if there is no meeting, in the Commissioners Court Conference Room, County Courthouse, 2nd Floor, Belton, Texas, where the following items will be discussed, but no action will be taken.

  1. Bell County Jail/Courthouse Status Updates.

    1. Jail population status and population management.
    2. Jail Addition Construction Update.
    3. Multi-Purpose Building Design and site designation.
    4. Courthouse HVAC and locking systems adjustments/regulation.
    5. Jail Diversion Program in Bexar County.
       
  2. Project Management priorities and projects.

    1. Jail healthcare review and Phase 2 Consulting site visit. 
    2. Phase 2 Consulting next phase.
    3. Strategic Capital Improvement Planning scheduling and procedures. 
    4. Information gathering, needs assessment progress, and calendar scheduling.

  6. Meeting with Pct 2 Justice of the Peace for input for 2008 Capital Improvements Project at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2008 in Commissioners Conference Room.
     
  7. Presentation by Congressman John Carter at 4:15 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2008 at the Texas Bioscience Institute on Kegley Road in Temple.
     
  8. Temple Area Builders Association Home & Garden Show at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2008 at the EXPO Center on Loop 121 in Belton.
