Notice of Workshop Session of 
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas 
for March 10, 2008

Notice is hereby given that a Workshop Session of the Commissioners Court will be held immediately after the regular Commissioners Court Meeting, or at 9:00 a.m. if there is no meeting, in the Commissioners Court Conference Room, County Courthouse, 2nd Floor, Belton, Texas, where the following items will be discussed, but no action will be taken.

1. Bell County Jail/Courthouse Status Updates.

1. Jail population status and population management.
2. Jail Addition Construction Update.
3. Multi-Purpose Building Design and site designation.
4. County Courthouse Design.
5. District Courthouse HVAC and locking systems adjustments/regulation.

1. Commissioners Court members luncheon following morning Workshop on Monday, March 10, 2008 with location to be announced at Workshop.  Workshop may continue in the Conference Room after lunch. 
    
2. Construction update by Skanska Construction USA on jail addition and other projects at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 2008 at the job site trailer on Loop 121 in Belton. 
    
3. Meeting with EXPO consultants on preparation of economic impact study at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 2008 at the Board Room at the EXPO Center on Loop 121 in Belton.
    
4. Presentation to Belton Kiwianis club at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the Harris Community Center in Belton.  
    
5. Texas Association of Counties personnel training workshop at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 in the training room of the Sheriff's Office Building in Belton.
