Notice of Workshop Session of 
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas 
for September 15, 2008

Notice is hereby given that a Workshop Session of the Commissioners Court will be held immediately after the regular Commissioners Court Meeting, or at 9:00 a.m. if there is no meeting, in the Commissioners Court Conference Room, County Courthouse, 2nd Floor, Belton, Texas, where the following items will be discussed, but no action will be taken.

  1. Bell County Jail/Courthouse Construction Status Updates.

    1. Jail population status and population management.
    2. Jail addition construction update and transition plan for occupancy.
    3. Jail Video Visitation System.
    4. Jail Bi-Directional Amplifier for Communications.
    5. Jail medical services and dental services providers.
    6. Multi-Purpose Building design and site designation/City of Belton coordination.
    7. County Courthouse design review and modification for juvenile transport.
    8. Jury room doors in District Courts Building/DA office modification.
       
  2. Project Management priorities and projects.

    1. Phase 2 Consulting next phase on jail medical services, jail dental services, and response status.
    2. Strategic Capital Improvement Project Plan and Policy.

    1. Modifications to Juvenile Facility design.

    Bell County Commissioners Court reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open Meetings Act.

  5. Central Texas Republican Women luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at Wildflower Country Club in Temple. 
     
  6. Temple Chamber of Commerce Military Appreciation luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at the Frank Mayborn Civic Center in Temple.
