Notice of Bell County Commissioners' Court Meeting - Tax Abatement Agreement requested by Big Elm Solar LLC

 NOTE:  The Commissioners' Court of Bell County may discuss, deliberate and take all appropriate action on any matter listed on this Agenda.  Items on this Agenda may be taken out of the order indicated.  All testimony before the Bell County Commissioners' Court will be taken under oath pursuant to §81.030 of the Local Government Code.  Please complete a witness (Public) testimony form prior to speaking.

The Bell County Commissioners Court shall hold a regular meeting on July 27th, 2020 and the following agenda item will be considered:

Consider and take appropriate action on a resolution and order authorizing the County to enter a tax abatement agreement pursuant to the County's Guidelines and Criteria under the Property Redevelopment and Tax Abatement Act, Chapter 312 of the Texas Tax Code as requested by Big Elm Solar LLC for approximately $186,000,000 in improvements related to the production of renewable energy utilizing solar panels.  The property subject to the abatement agreement is located on land within the Big Elm Solar Reinvestment Zone Number 1 located in Precinct 3.  A list of corresponding property owners, parcels, and legal descriptions is provided in the attachment to this public notice.
