Killeen Vaccination Center to Close Early

Belton, TX – The vaccination center located in the Rosa Hereford Killeen Community Center will close at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 11. Those with appointment scheduled after 2:00 p.m. on Thursday will have automatically been added for appointments on Wednesday, February 17.

Officials at the center say that traffic has been steady this morning, but, as they monitored forecasts for this afternoon, the decision was made to close before conditions deteriorate. Those with appointments scheduled after 2:00 p.m., who are unable to come in early today, are being contacted about their new appointments on Wednesday. On that day, they will be able to get inoculated at any time during the center’s regular hours of operation between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Once again, Bell County officials are aware that, due to technical issues with the booking system, vaccine recipients may receive email confirmations for their original appointments. Please disregard those communications. Everyone with an appointment today will only be eligible to receive vaccinations today or Wednesday.
